Glamping at Paperbark Camp

Paperbark Camp, Jervis Bay, NSW, Australia.

Glamping  (glamourous camping) is a growing phenomenon. It’s the best of both worlds. One can experience the splendor of the great outdoors without giving up the luxury hotel amenities we all love so much. What if you could have fine dining amongst the Eucalyptus treetops without swatting a single fly?  What about sleeping under the stars with the sounds of the bush to lull you to sleep while nestled in Egyptian cotton sheets?  Two words: Paperbark Camp.

The Tents.
Paperbark Camp is located in beautiful Jervis Bay in the Shoalhaven region and is only a two-hour drive south of Sydney. Shoalhaven is known for it's white sand beaches, clear calm waters and pristine coastal bush landscapes. Paperbark offers 12 luxury canvas tents that are each built above ground. Each tent includes a wrap around verandah, hard wood floors, solar power lighting, hot showers, free standing baths, insect screening, bathrobes and so much more.

The Experience.
Whether it’s an active outdoor holiday that you want or a nice relaxing get away from the hectic city life Paperbark has something for everyone. Surfing in the morning followed by a picnic lunch and an afternoon hike through the mangrove forests? Not a problem! How about a nice lounge by the beach with a great read followed by a therapeutic massage or maybe a relaxing bath and a candlelight dinner? Not a problem either!  Honestly amazing.  In addition, complimentary bikes and canoes are available for an eco-friendly way to enjoy the area. Is this place for real? Sounds like the perfect weekend getaway to me. Sign me up!

yours,
Juli
